Demo Day at Paarl de Ville
At Harley-Davidson® Tyger Valley, we’re always looking for opportunities to overcome incorrect perceptions about our brand in the broader riding community. Many feel that our motorcycles are “for old guys”, or “go really slow”. And this couldn’t be further from the truth!
While it’s true that Harley® motorcycles may not have a top speed the same as a lighter super bike, these mean machines have no problem tackling the open road to prove that H-D® is constantly evolving and growing from our humble dirt track beginnings to being the leaders in producing state-of-the-art cruisers and more!
The only way to overcome a perception is to bridge the gap between thought and reality through experience, and experiences are exactly what we offered this past Sunday at our Demo Day hosted at Paarl de Ville on the R312. All that a person needed in order to hit the open road on one of our magnificent motorcycles, was to pack their valid big bike license, wear closed shoes and come with an open mind!
Our set-up involved a small offering of MotorClothes® apparel, a demo fleet of 7 motorcycles to put to the test and best of all? Once a demo ride was taken, we offered each demo rider and pillion lunch (a juicy cheese burger and chips) on us!
A big thank you to those who attended our event and contributed to the (over 80!) demo rides taken. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing both new and old faces as well as facilitating a new Harley® riding experience for bikers of other brands.
We look forward to seeing some now-familiar faces at future events! Keep an eye out for what’s next here: http://harley-davidson-tygervalley.co.za/events
